Job Description Insight Global is seeking to hire a CS Techncian to join our team in Wooster, OH on a contract basis. This individual will be responsible for the processing, re-processing, and sterilization of surgical instruments and supplies. This role requires detailed knowledge of individualized surgical cases and physician preferences, guided by preference cards. Responsibilities will include: · Understands and adheres to sterilization parameters and manufacturer instructions for use. · Responds appropriately to sterilization failures and follows corrective procedures. · Participates in perioperative care planning by assessing patient physical and environmental needs. · Operates and maintains sterilization equipment including washers, ultrasonics, and autoclaves. · Performs biological indicator testing and documents results; follows protocols for test failures. · Uses appropriate PPE and follows infection control procedures during cleaning and decontamination.
