Do you have a passion for sales, solving unique challenges, driving efficiency and operational excellence? Air Products seeks a Central Sales Account Representative at our Allentown PA Headquarters. This position within IG Americas Central Sales North has responsibility for managing a portfolio of approximately 330 accounts and $10MM in annual revenue.
Key Job Responsibilities:
Renewing existing merchant contracts
Driving cost recovery initiatives
Building customer relationships
Improving contract terms and conditions
Signing new business for the North sub-region
Required Skills / Abilities:
BS degree required
1-3 years in sales
Self-starter with strong desire to succeed in a complex internal and external environment
Ability to work as part of a larger selling team
Financial acumen
Commercial industrial gas selling experience a plus
Knowledge and understanding of industrial gas contract language and negotiations
Understanding of Industrial Gas business, offerings and equipment is preferred
Responsive and detail oriented
Strong written and verbal communications skills
Strong organizational skills and ability to multitask
Strong influencing skills and ability to work cross functionally
Limited travel required: 1-2 trips per year to North Region (US customer) base and 1-2 trips per year to Sales Meetings.
