Job Description

HOW YOU WILL MAKE AN IMPACT

Primary responsibility of the Controlling Central Key User (CKU) is to be the liaison between the business and IT functions for the Americas region.   The Controlling CKU focuses on providing advanced solutions through SAP and various BI systems.  They support by leveraging their knowledge of general business processes and advanced computerized systems' solutions.  This position is part of a team with colleagues located around the globe to better support topics as they arise with a focus on the Americas as primary support region. 

Provide guidance to business & plant controllers on system related mattersTrain Local Key Users (LKUs) on business processes and system solutionsSupport training of end users through LKUsAdvise management on SAP software best practices and solutions to business challengesCollaborate with IT to resolve system issuesDevelop and maintain user documentation and training materialsSupport Americas project and change requests from business for all controlling topicsManage user authorizations

Qualifications

WHAT YOU BRING TO THE ROLE 

Bachelor's degree in business or IT related field5+ years experience in Controlling, Finance, Key User, or Business Analyst fieldPrior experience in SAP controlling modules in product costing in a manufacturing environmentUnderstanding of other SAP modules impacting controlling (FI, SD, MM, PP, TMS, etc.)Knowledge of Microsoft suite products (Excel, Word, Powerpoint, TEAMS)Strong analytical skills required to translate business needs into system requirementsExperience in project managementAbility to work both independently in complex environments with diverse teams on system solutionsTravel expectation of 10-15% of timeLegal authorization to work in the U.S. is required. Continental is only able to offer visa support for internals individuals who currently hold an existing valid employment visaCan offer a relocation package for internals only and open to a sign on bonus if needed for external candidates
