Overview

The Central Eligibility Authorization Team Coordinator is responsible for the data integrity of all admission, discharge, transfer and authorizations, as well as, maintaining authorization updates in all service lines in states who are live with CEAT.  The CEAT Coordinator interacts with each of business line operations throughout these states and ensures accuracy of data in order for clean claims to be realized.

Responsibilities Manages pending admissions, new admissions, and outstanding itemsFollows documentation standards set by Central Eligibility Authorization Team Leadership team and assists management in implementing those standardsCreates accurate and timely documentation as needed for Central Eligibility Authorization Team processes and authorizations.Manages room and board agreementsTrains new employees on internal and external systemsReviews Central Eligibility Authorization Team playbook and documented processes to ensure it is accurate and up to dateVerifies insurance eligibility and authorizations, provides operations with client information and potential issuesFacilitates root cause analysis and recommendations for resolutionReviews weekly Revenue Cycle ReportsAssigns Coordinators and delegates tasks as appropriate based on report dataConsolidates issues, logs, and notifies Leaders of potential high impact issuesEnsures proper staffing is in place and manages coverage; manages Paid Time Off requests and calendarAssigns priority to and triage tasks including but not limited to service desk tickets, problems, and special projects as assigned by leadershipDevelops and presents topics at Monthly Team MeetingReviews and prepares objective documentation for quarterly/annual Coordinator evaluationsOther duties as assigned Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent requiredSome college and/or work experience preferredProven experience with conflict resolutionExcellent communication skills both verbal and writtenExperience and ability using Microsoft Office SuiteKnowledge of government and commercial payer requirementsAbility to demonstrate our company Legacy standardsStrong attention to detail and accuracyStrong time management skills and ability to meet set deadlinesAbility to multi-task and show flexibility as daily priorities arise and changeMinimum travel required About our Line of Business BrightSpring Health Services provides complementary home- and community-based health solutions for complex populations in need of specialized and/or chronic care.
