WHAT YOU’LL DO
As Central Controller, you are a key team member within the organization, with great insight and involvement into what it is like to operate a brand on a high strategic level as well as on a day-to-day level. You will be responsible for driving initiatives that maximize selling, efficiency, and profitability—always with the customer’s best interest at heart.
Key Responsibilities:
Drive financial performance by analyzing, proposing, and implementing operational strategies. Lead monthly, quarterly, and annual P&L follow-up and provide actionable insights. Lead and coordinate cross-functional processes such as the annual budget process, forecast and other key planning cycles. Drive strategically important projects, such as Growth Strategy, Cost-to-Serve optimization, and initiatives that improve efficiency and profitability. Building robust business cases to support decision-making and strategic investments. Develop financial models and scenario analyses using Excel, ensuring accuracy and clarity. Package and present insights and recommendations to senior management in a clear way. Work closely with the Omni Sales team, with a strong focus on supporting Online business performance and growth initiatives. Collaborate with Assortment controlling on cross-functional initiatives to optimize category/product mix, profitability, and customer experience. Proactively identify and seize new opportunities for profitable growth, driving initiatives independently and taking ownership from idea to execution. The role does not include direct staff responsibility, but a key component of the role is to identify and develop talented controllers for the Brand.WHO YOU ARE
We are looking for people with...
Minimum of 5 years’ experience in a business controlling role, preferably within a retail/ FMCG context. Proven track record of driving business impact through strategic and operational initiatives. An understanding of online business dynamics with ability to support digital growth strategies Strong ability to develop analysis methods and draw actionable, data-driven conclusions. Advanced Excel skills (including financial modelling, scenario analysis, and advanced formulas), with the ability to handle large datasets, and experience using Power BI for reporting and insights. Experience in leading cross-functional projects and processes with multiple stakeholders.And we believe you are..
