Job Title: Cell Therapy Aseptic OperatorJob Description The Cell Therapy Aseptic Operator will assist in clean room qualification by helping to burden clean rooms for testing. They will run supplies and materials as needed for clean room operations and processing. Aseptic gowning is required to enter the clean room for qualification purposes. The operator will work within manufacturing to help process cells and samples, utilizing aseptic techniques to process cultures, cryopreserve, and manipulate cell products. Previous GMP practices and adherence to SOPs are essential, as the role involves working in a cellular facility. Responsibilities + Assist in clean room qualification and burden clean rooms for testing + Run supplies and materials necessary for clean room operations + Perform aseptic gowning to enter clean rooms for qualification + Work within manufacturing to process cells and samples + Utilize aseptic techniques to process cultures, cryopreserve, and manipulate cell products + Adhere to GMP practices and SOPs within a cellular facility + Conduct any and all processing and testing required for product safety and efficacy + Prepare stem cells, manage cell/tissue culture + Handle batch records, cell expansions, volume reductions, depletions, and enrichments + Support clinical trials through diligent processing and testing Essential Skills + Previous experience in biology lab settings, academic or industry + Experience in a fast-paced environment + Proficiency in aseptic techniques + Knowledge of GMP practices + Strong team communication abilities Additional Skills & Qualifications + Associates or Bachelor's degree in biology or related scientific field is a plus + Experience working with cell-based biology labs + Familiarity with batch records and cell processing + Ability to support clinical trials Work Environment The work will be conducted in clinical manufacturing labs with a focus on clean room operations. The operator will be part of a large team, reporting to Operations Managers, and will receive extensive training for aseptic gowning procedures. Flexibility is required for shifts, with initial training from Monday to Friday, 8 am to 4 pm. Permanent shifts will be four ten-hour days on Thursday-Friday and Sunday-Monday. Candidates must be open to working both 1st and 2nd shifts, including weekends, with the possibility of varying start times. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Allendale, New Jersey. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $29.00 - $29.78/hr.
