Job Title: Cell Culture Scientist Location: Groton, CT Pay Range: $30.00/hr - $34.45/hr Type: Contract, Potential for extension or conversion to permanent Responsibilities + Demonstrate basic laboratory skills to propagate and maintain various continuous and primary cell lines including preparation of medium and mycoplasma testing to ensure cell line sterility. + Scale-up and provisioning of fresh and cryo-preserved cell reagents + Comply with all safety training and good laboratory practices. + Maintain up-to-date electronic laboratory notebooks and records in accordance with company policy and ensure proper archiving of banked cell lines. + Communicate verbally and through writing to end users on timelines, status, and deliverables Requirements + Bachelor of Science with at least 1 year of experience with aseptic mammalian cell culture in a laboratory setting + Highly proficient in aseptic mammalian cell culture technique Benefits System One offers eligible employees health and welfare benefits coverage options, including medical, dental, vision, spending accounts, life insurance, voluntary plans, and participation in a 401(k) plan.
