Job DescriptionAECOM is currently seeking an experienced CEI Senior Landscape Inspector to join our growing team and support a variety of transportation infrastructure projects located in the Tampa Fl, area. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to impactful work that helps shape the region's infrastructure while working alongside a collaborative and professional team.
Responsible for plant identification, classification, and grades, and standards for nursery plants as established by the "Grades and Standards for Nursery Plants" manual issued by the Florida Department of Agriculture and Consumer ServicesRelies on extensive experience and independent judgment to plan and accomplish goalsResponsible for setting own project deadlinesProvides on the job training to new employeesResponsible for monitoring conformance to quality, performance, specifications, and/or code requirements by performing inspection dutiesPerforms daily field inspections and maintains inspection recordsParticipates in punch lists, testing, and commissioningTracks quality assurance progressProvides input to documentation for area and equipment turnoversConducts soil analysis and makes recommendations for soil amendments to ensure optimal plant growthOversees and inspects irrigation system installation and maintenance to ensure proper functioning and water conservationCollaborates with project managers and contractors to resolve landscape-related issues and ensure project timelines are metPrepares detailed reports on landscape inspections, including photographic documentation and recommendations for improvementsEnsures compliance with local, state, and federal environmental regulations related to landscaping and plant managementParticipates in pre-construction meetings to review landscape plans and provide input on potential issues or improvementsMonitors and reports on the health and condition of existing vegetation, recommending treatments or removal when necessaryQualifications
Minimum Requirements:
High School Diploma plus 6 years of experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and or educationU.S. Citizenship is required, due to the nature of the workValid US Driver’s License required to regularly drive AECOM vehicles to project sites. As a condition of employment, selected candidate must pass a Motor Vehicle Records reviewPreferred Qualifications:
