Job DescriptionAECOM Technical Services, Inc. is seeking a CEI Project Administrator in Tampa, FL
Job Details:
Interpret plans and specifications and ensure projects are built in substantial conformance with approved documentsExercise independent judgment in making project-level decisionsMeet project deadlines and monitor conformance to quality and code requirementsPerform daily field inspections and maintain inspection recordsParticipate in punch lists, testing, and quality assurance trackingDirect and assign specific tasks to administrative and field staffAssist in all phases of the construction projectReview and process progress pay estimates and final estimates throughout the project durationPerform routine site visits and field reviews of project activities and job progressReview work schedules submitted by the ContractorReview inspectors’ daily work reportsCoordinate material inspections and testing for each construction scope as neededReview completed work for compliance with contract documentsPrepare and submit required documentation to the client and verify compliance with contract documentsEvaluate field work progress versus schedule and report significant variancesHold weekly progress meetings and participate in other meetings as requiredResolve field issues related to construction activitiesReview concerns raised by the general public and coordinate resolutionCoordinate with utilities and other stakeholders as neededReview change order requests and prepare engineer’s estimatesFull-time positionQualificationsCandidates must have a Master's degree in Civil Engineering or related field and 1 year of experience in the job offered or in a related occupation.
Position requires experience in the following:
Sophisticated Project Scheduling methodologies and principles and ability to review Primavera P6 project schedule or Microsoft Project printouts.Proficiency in Engineering Software and Design Tools for transportation infrastructure projects: AutoCAD Civil 3D, MicroStation, Revit, Bluebeam Revu, and ArcGIS.Construction Inspection and Quality Assurance: Knowledge of Construction methods and materials testing, FDOT Standard Specifications for Road and Bridge Construction, FHWA regulations, QA/QC processes for transportation projects, Asphalt and concrete pavement inspection, and Structural integrity assessments.Traffic and Transportation Analysis: Expertise in roadway geometric design, traffic impact analysis, and MUTCD-compliant traffic control plans.Additional InformationAll your information will be kept confidential according to EEO guidelines.
