Job DescriptionAECOM is currently seeking an experienced CEI Project Administrator to join our growing team and support a variety of transportation infrastructure projects located in the Tallahassee Fl, area. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to impactful work that helps shape the region’s infrastructure while working alongside a collaborative and professional team.
Responsible for client/project development, resource management, and supervision of construction activities as they relate to contract administration and management of scope, schedule, budget, quality, safety, and change managementReceives general instructions regarding assignments and exercises initiative and independent judgment in the solution of work problemsDirects and assigns specific tasks to administrative and field staff and assists in all phases of the construction projectPrepares and reviews progress estimates and final estimates throughout the construction project durationResponsible for the overall management administration of the project and assists in establishing project-specific objectives and policiesProvides management and guidance to subordinate managers, enforces company and project policies, and serves as a primary liaison between AECOM and client interface.Oversees and ensures all facets of the project are constructed in accordance with design, budget, and schedule through subordinate managers and supervisorsResponsible for administering the project from the pre-construction budgeting/schedule stage through procurement, shop drawing/coordination development, construction, space turnover, and contract closeout. Position has significant profit/loss responsibility for assigned construction project.Develops and maintains project schedules, ensuring timely completion of milestones and deliverablesCoordinates with various stakeholders, including contractors, subcontractors, and regulatory agencies, to ensure compliance with project requirements and regulationsConducts regular site inspections to monitor construction progress, quality, and safety standards.Prepares and presents project status reports to senior management and clients, highlighting key performance indicators, risks, and mitigation strategiesManages project documentation, including contracts, change orders, and correspondence, ensuring proper record-keeping and compliance with organizational standardsIdentifies potential issues or conflicts and implements proactive solutions to minimize project delays and cost overrunsParticipates in project meetings, representing the organization's interests and facilitating effective communication among team members and stakeholdersMentors and develops junior staff members, promoting professional growth and fostering a collaborative team environmentQualifications
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
BA/BS degree plus 4 years of related experience, or AS Degree plus 6 years of related experience, or HS/GED plus 8 years of related experience or demonstrated equivalency and/or educationDue to the projects associated with this position, US Citizenship is requiredValid US Driver’s License required to regularly drive AECOM vehicles to project sites. As a condition of employment, selected candidate must pass a Motor Vehicle Records reviewPREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Experience with roadway or bridge constructionExperience in relevant transportation projectsFDOT Advanced MOTCTQP Final Estimates Level IICTQP Quality Control Manager (Attend and pass the examination)Additional InformationSponsorship for US employment authorization is not available now or in the future for this position
