Founded in 1906, McLeod Health is a locally owned and managed, not for profit organization supported by the strength of more than 900 members on its medical staff and more than 2,900 licensed nurses. McLeod Health is also composed of approximately 15,000 team members and more than 90 physician practices throughout its 18-county service area. With seven hospitals, McLeod Health operates three Health and Fitness Centers, a Sports Medicine and Outpatient Rehabilitation Center, Hospice and Home Health Services. The system currently has 988 licensed beds, including Hospice and Behavioral Health. Responsibilities:
Responsible for working in Material Management environment supporting all facets of supply chain operations including inventory management, shipping and receiving, delivery, stock replenishment. Drives Semi-delivery truck with 53 ft. trailer between campuses moving supplies between facilities. Requires clean driving record and CDL license to drive vehicle. Loads and unloads supplies and equipment to and from truck. Works with material management distribution systems supporting inventory management processes including computer systems, bar code scanners and handheld computer devices. Responsible for ensuring vehicle follows the Company’s safety standards prior to operating the vehicle. Ensures that all Company, state, and federal regulations are always adhered to while operating the vehicle and completes vehicle condition reports daily to ensure that any vehicle defects are repaired in a timely manner. Requires the ability to work under/handle stressful situations. Other duties as assigned.
