Frequently sitting for extended periods of timeSafely and efficiently operate a rolloff truck to pickup and deliver to recycling centers and disposal sites.Tarp and contain loads in receiver boxes and open tops.Unload or assist in unloading finished product from rolloff-truckInspect load in trailer to ensure it is properly loaded and it is the correct loadVerify material while truck is being unloaded, as allowed by delivery sitesOperate rolloff-truck according to state lawsTransport load by required route to proper destination while observing all traffic laws and safety regulationsComplete daily timecard, driver logs, and all other work reports accurately and in a timely manner Perform daily services such as - checking the oil level, water level, fuel, and air in tiresReport any maintenance items to supervision immediatelyAssist in keeping the shipping warehouse and outside dock area clean and organized.Clean assigned vehicle dailyAccurately maintain required driver's logs and other appropriateDepartment of Transportation paperworkUse proper lifting, reaching, pushing, pulling, and bending techniques.Perform each task in a manner which prevents bodily injury, equipment, and product damageObserve all safety and health guidelinesOther duties may be assigned by supervisionLearn relevant local and company requirements, rules and procedures. 1 Year Roll Off Driver experienceManual 10-speed experience requiredHigh school diploma or GEDSpeak, read, and comprehend EnglishWrite legibly in EnglishGood physical condition, i.e. able to lift 25-50# on a consistent basisMust have a valid CDL A or B license for the state appliedMust meet Department of Transportation physical and medical requirementsMust pass substance abuse screening according to company policyRequires a high degree of attention and considerable dexterity in the control of a rolloff-truck and in the prevention of damage to materials and equipmentPHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
To successfully perform the essential functions of this role it requires the ability to: stand occasionally, walk frequently, frequent use of hands (reach with hands and arms), view computer monitor, use telephone, speak and listen frequently.
