About the role

Purpose: Support & execution of collection development (from sketch delivery to production launch). Price negotiation with suppliers in support of the Sourcing Manager.

Mission description:

Collection development :

Participate in sketch deliveries with product teams & factoriesParticipate in the construction of collection documents (bill of materials) Follow samples reception & exchange between teamsUpdate product data & information in systems at all stage of the development (trims, fabrics, packaging) Organize & plan factory visits logistic, accompany & guide merchandising teamsGuarantee SMS on time deliveriesParticipate to product fittings with Design & Product teams Propose product and/or process improvement to achieve better efficiencies/quality/price

 

Production :

Update technical pack industrially to allow production launch Secure style duplication from other platform to enable nearshoring strategyReview trims & fabrics with quality teamNegotiate final prices with suppliers to secure finance targets objectives Insure on time OK Production according to BU Planning schedule Profile +5 years’ experience in textile & apparel sourcing or developmentFluency in English requiredAbility to work on Excel, PowerPoint & other internal systemsDetailed orientedProblem solving & results orientedFinancial acumen & Analytical skillsNegotiation skillsAbility to collaborate with functional stakeholders Equal opportunities At Lacoste, we are committed to making equal opportunities a reality.
