These positions have great impact in assuring youth receive the appropriate level of treatment and families have the support needed to maintain youth within their community. Clinician opportunities: Congregate Care Unit Clinician (CCU) serves youth in Idaho's child welfare system. CCU clinicians assesses a youth's needs for treatment and matches them with appropriate congregate treatment settings within Idaho preferably. The CCU clinician assists the child welfare case managers in developing plans to transition youth to treatment. Once placed, the CCU clinician reviews treatment recommendations with the treatment facility ensuring the facility has an understanding of the youth's needs and the resources/skill sets to move a youth forward in their healing. This is a statewide position and will report to their nearest DHW location. This position may be eligible for telework after successful completion of probation and necessary training. Approval to telecommute is not guaranteed and subject to termination at any time. The Idaho Department of Health & Welfare is a drug-free workplace.
