RESPONSIBILITIES
+ Ensure daily operations and business activities of the branch in compliance with relevant laws and regulations, Citi’s internal operating standards and control processes, and relevant instructions from the management.
+ Execute Taiwan business strategy and ensure sound profitability and asset quality
+ Implement effective risk prevention and controls in the branch.
+ Be responsible for the management of office and business site.
+ Lead all departments in the branch while working closely with the departments in Citi headquarter/cluster.
+ Build and maintain good working relationships and communication with relevant government and regulatory authorities.
+ Coordinate the work from each department in the branch, promote knowledge and experience sharing, identify and develop talents.
+ Represent the branch to report to Citi management and external regulatory authorities.
+ Other responsibilities assigned to Branch Manager according to specific business needs.
+ Make sure the passing of internal and external audits of the branch, and achieve satisfactory branch performance appraisal.
+ Represent the interests and maintain the image of the branch, prevent the reputation risk.
+ Promote branch team management and team building activities. Advocate active, healthy, friendly, collaborative and progressive corporate culture to achieve sustainable institutional developments.
KEY REQUIREMENTS
+ Meet the necessary qualification requirements set by the regulators.
+ Possess strong leadership and seasoned management experiences to lead the branch staff.
+ Self-motivated with a strong sense of responsibility and commitment to the branch’s overall well-being.
+ A strategic thinker with good communication skills.
+ Be familiar with banking related laws and regulations; possess high-level policy proficiency and application capability.
+ Be familiar with banking business, risk management and other vocational specialties.
+ Track record in working performance.
+ Strong analytical and problem solving skills.
**Education:**
+ Bachelor's degree/University degree or equivalent experience
+ Master's degree preferred
