Your responsibilities include: + Performing angiographic and cardiac catheterization procedures + Administering contrast agents under physician direction + Evaluating images for technical quality and optimizing exams using patient history and prior studies + Applying radiation safety principles and initiating life support measures when needed + Preparing exam rooms and equipment to meet physician and patient needs + Educating patients before and after procedures + Collaborating with physicians and team members to ensure excellent patient outcomes **What You Bring** **Education & Credentials:** + Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program + ARRT eligibility or ARRT-R + Registered with the Oregon Board of Medical Imaging (OBMI). Recent graduates of an accredited education program that provides eligibility to sit for the ARRT-R exam, may be employed for up to 6 months under a temporary OBMI license. Those graduates will have a six-month grace period in which to pass the ARRT-R exam and receive their OBMI license. + Basic Life Support (BLS) – required upon hire + Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) – required within 6 months **Experience & Skills:** + Prior experience in general imaging preferred + Strong knowledge of radiologic principles, anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology + Ability to adapt exams to patient needs and resolve care-related challenges + PACS/RIS proficiency (ImageCast/CareCast experience preferred) + Excellent communication, organizational, and analytical skills + Flexibility and ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment **Life in Springfield & the Pacific Northwest** Located in the scenic **Willamette Valley** , Springfield and neighboring **Eugene** offer a vibrant lifestyle surrounded by natural beauty.
