As a Cath Lab Tech at MercyOne, you will:
Assist the physician with imaging during diagnosis and treatment of cardiac cath lab patients of diverse agesEnsure quality of imaging and image acquisition, DSA, and hemodynamic monitoring as well as radiation safety practices used for patients and personnelBe proficient with aseptic technique and assists physician with scrubbing during procedureTransport patients to and from the cath labAssist with technical utilization of physiologic monitoring/data devices in the cath lab, calibrate physiologic and monitoring devices, prepare appropriate forms to document procedural dataSchedule:
Per DiemGeneral Requirements:
Completion of a two-year training program in radiologic technology and ARRT registry, with a valid Iowa Radiology technologist permit to practice, OR a graduate of Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist certification program OR an Advanced medical training degree (Associate of Science degree or Associate’s degree in paramedic, or Allied Health Profession)Basic EKG monitoring class preferredBasic Life Support required within 3 months of hireACLS preferred required within 6 months of hireMandatory Reporter required within 3 months of hire2 years experience requiredColleagues of MercyOne Health System enjoy competitive compensation with a full benefits package and opportunity for growth throughout the system!
