**Job Summary**
The Catering Operations Manager is responsible for overseeing and optimizing all aspects of Bon Appétit’s catering operations. This role requires a combination of strong leadership, organizational skills, and a deep understanding of the catering industry. The Catering Manager will ensure effi cient operations, exceptional customer service, and profi tability for the catering department.

Key Responsibilities
● Operational Management:
○ Develop and implement effi cient operational procedures to streamline catering processes.
○ Manage catering staff , including scheduling, training, and performance evaluations.
○ Oversee inventory management, ensuring adequate supplies and equipment are available.
○ Monitor and analyze catering performance metrics to identify areas for improvement.
● Customer Service:
○ Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, ensuring their complete satisfaction with catering services.
○ Address customer inquiries and complaints promptly and professionally.
○ Collaborate with sales and marketing teams to promote catering services and generate new business.
● Financial Management:
○ Develop and manage the catering department's budget.
○ Monitor and control costs to ensure profi tability.
○ Negotiate with vendors to secure favorable terms and pricing.
● Quality Assurance:
○ Ensure adherence to food safety standards and regulations.
○ Maintain high standards for food quality and presentation.
○ Conduct regular quality checks and audits.
● Event Planning and Execution:
○ Oversee the planning and execution of catering events, from initial client consultation to on-site management.
○ Coordinate with kitchen staff , servers, and other team members to ensure smooth event execution.
○ Manage event logistics, including transportation, equipment, and staffi ng.
**Qualifications**
● Minimum of 5 years of experience in catering management.
● Strong leadership and organizational skills.
● Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
● Profi ciency in Microsoft Offi ce Suite and catering management software.
● Strong understanding of food safety regulations and best practices.
● Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
Additional Skills (Preferred)
● Experience in event planning and coordination.
● Knowledge of food and beverage trends.
● Certifi cation in food safety or hospitality management
