Sodexo’s Campus Segment is seeking an experienced and dynamic Catering Manager 3 located in Western, NY. In this role, you will be responsible for the organization, coordination, and flawless execution of university, campus, and third-party events. The ideal candidate will have a strong catering background, experience managing upscale and high-profile events, and the ability to plan and execute multiple functions simultaneously.

Incentives RELOCATION ASSISTANCE AVAILABLE!  What You'll Do

Lead and manage all catering operations, including event planning, menu development, logistics, and on-site execution

Collaborate with campus partners, clients, and culinary teams to ensure all events exceed expectations

Manage catering budgets, staffing, and scheduling to ensure operational efficiency and profitability

Oversee setup and presentation to maintain Sodexo’s high standards of service and quality

Train, develop, and mentor catering staff to deliver outstanding guest experiences

Ensure compliance with food safety, sanitation, and workplace safety standards

What You Bring

3+ years of experience managing catering or events in a hospitality, campus, or hotel environment

Proven track record in planning and executing large-scale and upscale events

Strong leadership and organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities

Excellent communication, customer service, and team-building abilities

A passion for creativity, innovation, and delivering exceptional guest experiences

Flexibility to work evenings and weekends as events require

Qualifications & Requirements

Minimum Education Requirement - Associate's Degree or equivalent experience
Minimum Management Experience - 2 years
Minimum Functional Experience – 1 year work experience in food or culinary services including restaurants, fast food, vending, catering services, institutional services, mall food courts, etc.
