Catering and Special Events Team Member

Job Duties:

Positively interact with all guests and provide exceptional guest servicePrepare large quantities of food for multiple picnics at a timeUse of individual size smoker, ovens, stoves, walk-in freezer/refrigerator, fryers and grills to prepare foodSet up for events by preparing the buffet line, drink stations, dessert stations and may be needed to set up table cloths and/or grove decorations for eventsEnsure the buffet line is stocked during events including back-up stock for ease of transferEnsure guests are being provided with food and beverage items of the highest qualityFollow proper food preparation and handling procedures in compliance with all Health Department and Food Service Department policies regarding sanitation per department trainingContinually monitor the cleanliness within the assigned area/unitMust follow Six Flags policies and procedures at all timesOther duties as assigned by Unit or Fulltime Management

Minimum Requirements:

Must be 16 years of age or olderMust be willing to work weekends, Holidays, days/evenings and weekdays when needed for operationMust be able to lift up to 25lbs without assistance and 50lbs with assistanceMust be willing and able to clean using chemicals after training and with proper personal protective equipmentMust be able to stand, kneel and squat for extended periods up to 8 hoursMust successfully obtain a state required Food Handler's cardMust be able and willing to meet all Six Flags Entertainment Grooming Standards daily

Working Conditions:

Indoors in artificial lighting, including but not limited to near cook tops and fryers, grills, smokers, industrial size sinks and in walk in refrigerators/freezersOutdoors in all weather conditions including but not limited to direct sunlight, hot/cold weather, rain, fog and both during the day and nightPicnic groves are outdoor venues with minimal overhead cover
