Job Duties:
Positively interact with all guests and provide exceptional guest service Prepare large quantities of food for multiple picnics at a time Use of individual size smoker, ovens, stoves, walk-in freezer/refrigerator, fryers and grills to prepare food Set up for events by preparing the buffet line, drink stations, dessert stations and may be needed to set up table cloths and/or grove decorations for events Ensure the buffet line is stocked during events including back-up stock for ease of transfer Ensure guests are being provided with food and beverage items of the highest quality Follow proper food preparation and handling procedures in compliance with all Health Department and Food Service Department policies regarding sanitation per department training Continually monitor the cleanliness within the assigned area/unit Must follow Six Flags policies and procedures at all times Other duties as assigned by Unit or Fulltime ManagementMinimum Requirements:
Must be 16 years of age or older Must be willing to work weekends, Holidays, days/evenings and weekdays when needed for operation Must be able to lift up to 25lbs without assistance and 50lbs with assistance Must be willing and able to clean using chemicals after training and with proper personal protective equipment Must be able to stand, kneel and squat for extended periods up to 8 hours Must successfully obtain a state required Food Handler's card Must be able and willing to meet all Six Flags Entertainment Grooming Standards dailyWorking Conditions:
Indoors in artificial lighting, including but not limited to near cook tops and fryers, grills, smokers, industrial size sinks and in walk in refrigerators/freezers Outdoors in all weather conditions including but not limited to direct sunlight, hot/cold weather, rain, fog and both during the day and night Picnic groves are outdoor venues with minimal overhead cover
