**JOB SUMMARY**
Drive inventory and purchasing performance by overseeing forecasting, demand planning, and replenishment strategies that balance service levels with cost efficiency. Ensure accuracy in procurement activities while minimizing aged stock, spoilage, and shrink to achieve financial and operational targets. Partner with merchandising, logistics, and operations teams to strengthen supply chain effectiveness, streamline processes for assortment replenishment, and maintain alignment with corporate initiatives. Lead SKU management and reporting for specialized assortments, provide timely support to sales through targeted insights, and adapt strategies to evolving market conditions and commodity dynamics.
RESPONSIBILITIES
+ Manage and maintain Asian Expansion core assortment lists across OpCos and resolve replenishment issues.
+ Forecast and plan demand for customer events, seasonality, and business shifts.
+ Perform weekly reporting and maintenance of Asian Expansion assortment and metrics.
+ Support purchasing execution and hyper-care of new items and demand changes.
+ Ensure optimal inventory levels while maximizing customer service.
+ Manage Inventory DSO, aged/obsolete inventory, spoilage and shrink to achieve corporate goals.
+ Collaborate with merchandising, logistics, suppliers, and other functional areas to increase assortments while optimizing costs.
+ Partner with logistics to maximize supply chain efficiencies, monitor Logistics Earned Income (LEI), and provide visibility and requests to adjust freight rates.
+ Work with site Product Support Advisors (PSAs) and Planners to maintain vendor setup and item sourcing for Asian assortments.
+ Provide targeted reports and insights to support sales.
+ Monitor market and commodity conditions within corporate and market guidelines.
+ Execute enterprise purchasing initiatives, including reporting, cadence calls, and problem resolutions.
+ Utilize Sysco systems (Inventory 360, TMS, Sysco Shop, AS400, DPR, RME, Ad-Hoc Reporting) with intermediate/advanced proficiency.
+ Sustain performance while meeting established KPIs.
QUALIFICATIONS
Education
+ High school diploma required.
+ Bachelor's degree preferred.
Experience
+ 3+ years of experience. May substitute an equivalent combination of education and experience in place of 3 years Inventory Management/Purchasing experience (Bachelors: +1 year Inventory Management/Purchasing experience).
+ Experience working within a retail, wholesale or distribution environment.
+ Inventory Management/Purchasing experience in distributor with 10,000+ SKUs preferred.

+ Advanced Excel skills: report structuring, performing complex lookups, pivot table creation, and formulations
+ Solid organizational and planning skills.
+ Ability to analyze large data sets for insights and trends.
+ Ability to perform basic SQL query functions
+ Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
+ Skilled in developing actionable recommendations.
+ Ability to quickly learn and leverage Sysco systems quickly
+ Strong communication and follow-up with stakeholders.
