This position is responsible for providing procurement and administrative support within the category management process across a range of contracts and suppliers.
Responsibilities
Contribute to the planning and management of all relevant categories in according with the business procurement procedures. Assist with the delivery of category activities by performing the associated sourcing analytics, spend compliance and reporting functions. Manage any allocated contract through its lifecycle. Ensure contract registers are kept up to date in the system for the category team and key dates ae tracked and renewals are included in the annual sourcing plan. Assist category specialists compile contract documentation. Assist the management o supply risk and supplier performance through monitoring key performance indicators within the framework of the supplier relationship plan.Required Experience
Ability to contribute to team direction, give and receive feedback and achieve agreed performance standards. Understanding of all stages of the basic procurement cycle, including demonstrated awareness of local industry trends and the ability to assist with best practise procurement policies and practises. Good analytical, research and problem-solving skills including spread sheeting skills for data manipulation, and ability to develop ability to undertake commercial calculations. Demonstrated organisational ability to successfully manage tasks with conflicting priorities and deadlines. Demonstrated ability t assist identifying business process and system improvements.Qualifications
Appropriate tertiary qualifications in a relevant discipline or equivalent procurement work experience. Demonstrated high-level proficiency in a range of computer systems and software including, SAP, Records Manager, MS Word, Excel and Outlook.
