JOB PURPOSE

This role exists to deliver a purpose-led, consistent, and consumer‑centric category marketing strategy for Czechia & Slovakia.

The Category Marketing Manager will lead the CZSK Category team, driving end-to-end business planning, purpose-driven brand building, and flawless execution of annual plans for our Personal Care and Beauty & Wellbeing brands.

You will play a pivotal role in unlocking category growth, strengthening brand equity, and ensuring our innovations and activations deliver outstanding value for our consumers, customers, and communities.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Leadership & People Development:

Act as a visible and inspiring leader for the CZSK Category team.Set clear objectives, coach team members, develop capabilities, and assess performance.Build a high‑performing, collaborative, and purpose-driven team culture.

Business Planning & Strategy Execution:

Own the annual business plan and ensure its timely and high‑quality delivery.Develop and execute short- and mid‑term category strategies aligned with global priorities.Take full P&L ownership, ensuring financial discipline and commercial impact.Continuously track performance, analyze market insights, and identify growth opportunities.

Portfolio, Innovation & Project Management

Lead the rapidly growing part of the portfolio with accountability for brand and campaign performance.Ensure an ongoing pipeline of relevant, consumer-led innovations for both markets.Steer cross-country projects, ensuring alignment and understanding of market implications.Partner with the Commercial Lead to secure listings, visibility, and shelf expansion across channels (retail, e‑commerce, OOH, new channels).

Brand Building & External Engagement:

Strengthen brand awareness and purpose through impactful communications and activations.Build and manage a network of agencies, freelancers, and influencers to amplify brand love and talkability.Foster strong relationships with consumers, customers, and internal stakeholders in both markets.Take full responsibility for the BMI budget, ensuring efficient and strategic use of resources.

Cross‑Functional Collaboration:

Work closely with Customer Business Development, Supply Chain, Finance, Customer Teams, Marketing, and Global Teams to deliver seamless execution and business results.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

Minimum 5+ years of experience in Marketing, Customer Strategy & Planning, or Sales.Strong experience in at least two functional areas (e.g., Marketing + CSP, Marketing + Sales).Solid understanding of P&L, retail landscape, and trade marketing levers.Proven leadership capabilities and strong sense of ownership.Strong analytical mindset, effectiveness, and ability to learn fast.Excellent presentation skills and strong financial & commercial acumen.Knowledge of the CZSK retail market dynamics.Understanding of media planning and communications channels.Fluency in English.Active Category B driving license and willingness to travel across Czechia and Slovakia.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

Experience in cross-country category management.Familiarity with purpose-led brand building.Experience managing influencer/agency ecosystems.
