HP Workforce Solutions group is seeking a new regional Lifecycle Services Category Manager who applies basic foundation of a function's principles, theories and concepts to drive Services growth in Greater Asia. Uses professional concepts and theoretical knowledge acquired through specialized training, education or previous experience. Develops expertise and practical knowledge of applications within business environment. Acts as team member by providing information, analysis and recommendations in support of team efforts. Exercises independent judgment within defined parameters.
Responsibilities
Manage the 4P and P&L of assigned to Lifecycle services in the given markets.Determines the services strategy and manages business development and operations along with the country Services category and sales functionsLeads efforts to align programs with business priorities and integrate programs across the markets or countriesAssumes responsibility for the successful implementation of business plans in the defined area of responsibilityWhere appropriate, seeks to build strategic relationships externally with partner alliances and internally within HP, to develop best-in-class solutions for customersDevelop short and mid-term plans to achieve market growth, revenue and operating profit goalsCollaboration with both internal & external stakeholders for enablement, readiness, training & implementation of new products/programs/initiatives related to Lifecycle servicesFocal point for all operational activities related to Lifecycle Services business in Greater Asia.SME for Portfolio, Costing & Pricing management on Lifecycle ServicesDefine sales programs to drive improvements on A-Rate, P-Rate & other key metrics related to Services business.Planning & implementation of quota for Lifecycle services.Escalation management for Deals/Pricing/approvals/Operational issuesBuild process and governance for Services Business financials & operations.Knowledge & Skills required:
Typically 8-12 years of professional experience with a combination of Marketing, Sales, Business Planning experience preferred.Services Business Development and Business Management Experience in Greater Asia MarketConsultative, strong communication skills and able to partner with Senior Management (Internal/External)Negotiation skills and ability to frame the product value proposition to customers/partners.IT Services industry knowledge is highly preferred.Strong program management skillsBusiness planning skillsFinancial planning and modelling skills, comfortable to manage high complexity business planning and reporting
