This is a critical role on our Procurement team, with a large, complex scope of responsibilities within the assigned category. We are looking for a Subject Matter Expert (SME) to own the space, strategy, supply base, and performance of our Facilities Category, and stay current on market trends and conditions in this category.\u00A0

What you will do:

Responsible for strategy development, execution of Procurement processes and supplier relationship managementDevelop & implement multi-year category strategies with goals to increase spend with preferred suppliersDevelop relationships and communication strategies with internal partners to identify business needs and align supply base to achieve strategic directionResponsible for building and managing strategic supplier relationships through formal Supplier Relationship Management (SRM) process to improve supplier performance metrics including quality, delivery, productivity, and innovationProvide leadership and oversight of the sourcing process to ensure spend is awarded to provide the maximum valueLead the development and negotiation of contracts through the contract lifecycle maximizing value while minimizing riskPartner with Regional and Global Procurement teams to ensure delivery of productivity and cost avoidanceAbility to travel 10-15%

What you will bring:

Bachelor\u2019s Degree in Business, Supply Chain, Operations, Engineering or related field.3+ years of procurement / sourcing experience with large-scale, complex, and/or regional/global categories of spend.Demonstrated success in assessing, negotiating and managing vendors.Collaborative, facilitation, consultation and conflict resolution skills; you will be a trusted business partner and engage both internal and external stakeholders/customers, and we are seeking the ability to collaborate and influence within a highly matrixed environment.Professional communication; both verbal and written are required.
