Category Manager

Key Responsibilities:

Category Planning & Execution: Assist in developing and executing category strategies to drive sales and profitability. Design Collaboration: Work closely with designers to provide insights into market trends and consumer preferences for product development. Market & Trend Analysis: Monitor jewellery trends, customer buying behavior, and competitor activities to identify opportunities. Product Lifecycle Management: Support the product development process from conceptualization to launch, ensuring alignment with brand positioning. Vendor & Supplier Coordination: Collaborate with manufacturers, artisans, and suppliers to manage procurement and quality control. Inventory & Pricing Management: Monitor stock levels, optimize inventory turnover, and strategize pricing models to maximize profitability. Sales & Merchandising Support: Work closely with sales and marketing teams to enhance category visibility and sales performance. Performance Tracking: Analyze category performance, sales reports, and consumer feedback to make data-driven decisions.

Key Requirements:

Industry Experience: Minimum 5 years of experience in the jewellery industry, with expertise in diamond-studded, gold jewellery, and gemstones. Design & Trend Understanding: Ability to translate market insights into design briefs for designers. Analytical & Strategic Skills: Strong experience in category management, sales forecasting, and inventory planning. Gemstone Knowledge: Understanding of gemstone quality, sourcing, and market trends. Vendor & Supply Chain Coordination: Familiarity with procurement, quality assurance, and production processes in jewellery. Collaboration & Communication: Strong interpersonal skills to work effectively with internal teams and external partners.
