The Category & Channel Sr. Manager for True Wireless Stereo (TWS) Headphones is responsible for driving sales growth and market share within national retailers and carriers. This role involves developing and executing category and channel strategies to enhance product visibility, optimize shelf space, and maximize revenue. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of consumer electronics, retail dynamics, and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams to achieve business objectives.

Role and Responsibilities

Category and Channel Strategy Development

Develop and implement category strategies from beginning to end of product lifecycle to increase sales and market share of TWS headphones in national retailers and carriersDesign and execute channel-specific strategies to optimize product distribution and penetration in retail and carrier channels

Collaborate with Account teams

Build and maintain strong relationships with key retail and carrier partners to ensure alignment with business goals, including negotiation of agreements for promotional activities, merchandising space allocation, and pricing strategies

Performance Optimization

Develop and lead the Quarterly Quality, Cost, and Delivery (QCD) plans for national retail accounts to ensure alignment with sales objectives and operational efficiencyMonitor category and channel performance metrics (e.g., sales, inventory turnover, and market share) and provide actionable insights to improve results

Cross-Functional Collaboration

Work closely with marketing, product development, and supply chain teams to ensure alignment on product offerings, pricing, and promotional activities

Budget Management

Owns the Retail P&L for multiple accounts; develops plans that drive revenue and margin improvementOversee category and channel investment budgets effectively to maximize ROI on marketing and promotional investments

Skills and Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field and 8+ years of experience in retail management, category management, or consumer electronicsProven track record of driving sales growth and market share in national retail and carrier channelsExceptional negotiation and relationship-building skills, with a proven track record of collaborating effectively with internal accounts and key external retail partnersExperience in the consumer electronics and/or mobile sector, particularly with audio products

Preferred Qualifications

MBA preferred and 6+ years of relevant experienceStrong communication and presentation abilities, capable of influencing stakeholders at all organizational levelsAnalytical mindset with proficiency in data analysis tools, with ability to visualize results and recommendations (e.g., Excel, PowerPoint, Tableau)Familiarity with retail analytics platforms (e.g., Circana, GAP Intelligence, etc.) is advantageous
