Support and implement category strategies to ensure cost-effective, long-term supply of servicesAnalyze supplier markets and leverage global and regional purchasing volumesDrive supplier consolidation and cost-saving initiatives while ensuring quality and service standardsBuild strong relationships with internal stakeholders and align purchasing goals across regionsManage supplier selection, evaluation, and development to strengthen performance and reliabilityLead negotiations and implement contracts with favorable terms (pricing, legal, and service conditions)Collaborate on sourcing projects with departments such as Supply Chain, Engineering, and FinanceMonitor and report on key procurement KPIs and cost savingsEnsure compliance with company policies, ethics, and sourcing documentation standardsSupport vendor onboarding, contract management, and issue resolution with Accounting and Master Data teamsParticipate in and lead cross-functional improvement or sourcing projects as needed

Qualifications

Essential Skills/Qualifications:

 

Academic degree in Business Administration or comparable qualificationsProfessional experience in Purchasing function and/or respective material groupsEnglish speaking and writing – AdvancedGerman speaking and writing – AdvancedAbility to work independently and highly self-motivatedExcellent teamwork spirit and flexibilityStrong negotiation, persuasion and communication skillsetInter-cultural experience (working in different countries or with international teams)Experience with Continental Business SystemsWilling and able to travel as needed
