Catalyst Senior Certification Expert
**Job Description Summary** The Catalyst Staff Certification Engineer will play a key role in supporting the Catalyst and Eurodrone certification programs, including direct engagement with civil (FAA and EASA) and military authorities. This position is responsible for developing high-quality certification plans and ensuring the successful execution of certification programs for assigned projects. **Job Description** **Essential Responsibilities** + Lead multidisciplinary teams in the development of certification plans that meet regulatory requirements and program objectives. + Assess engine design changes against various regulatory standards and propose appropriate methods of compliance. + Collaborate with civil and military authorities to discuss and finalize certification plans. + Define and manage Certification Programs (CP), including issuing relevant documentation, coordinating actions with authorities, and maintaining the "Compliance Check-List." + Provide regular updates to regulatory authorities and internal management on the progress of certification program execution. + Support the execution of certification programs by planning engine and component tests, defining analyses, and scheduling teardowns and inspections. + Translate regulatory requirements into actionable deliverables for design and systems teams. + Prepare certification test plans and reports to ensure compliance and quality. **Required Qualifications** + Advanced experience in Engineering/Technology & Technical Regulations and Standards, with knowledge equivalent to a Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college. + Experience with the certification of aircraft engines or similar aerospace products. + Strong understanding of EASA (preferred) and FAA certification requirements. + Excellent oral and written communication skills, with the ability to analyze and resolve complex problems. + Proven ability to document, plan, and execute programs, along with established project management skills. + Willingness and ability to travel locally and internationally (up to 10% of work time). **Desired Characteristics** + Systems engineering background **Our bonuses above the salary include:** + Fresh vegetable and fruit in the workplace twice a week + Contribution to Multisport card – so you can do sports every day almost anywhere in the Czech Republic + Health Days - massages, medical specialists, trainings, yoga mornings, vitamin packages and other + Private gym in the building (just for us) + Annual Bonus up to 15% of your yearly salary + Monthly contribution 6% from your base salary into your Cafeteria or Pension/Life Insurance + Meal vouchers (100 CZK/per day) fully covered by employer + Two weeks of paid time off above local law minimum (6 weeks of paid time off in total) \#LI-SM2 **Additional Information** **Relocation Assistance Provided:** No GE Aerospace is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
