CAT Scan Technologist (CT Tech)
CT Scan Technologist Location: Madison, WI Facility: Meriter Hospital Contract Length: 20 Weeks Start Date: January 19, 2026 Shift: Nights, 40 hours/week, 4x10s, Monday through Thursday About the Role We are seeking an experienced CT Technologist to perform diagnostic imaging procedures in a fast-paced hospital setting. This role involves producing high-quality CT scans, assisting radiologists, and ensuring patient safety and comfort throughout the process. Key Responsibilities + Operate CT scanners and related equipment following radiation safety protocols. + Position patients accurately and administer oral or IV contrast as needed. + Assist radiologists with imaging and interventional procedures. + Monitor patient condition and sedation levels during scans. + Evaluate images for technical quality and ensure proper labeling. + Maintain accurate patient records and adhere to HIPAA standards. Requirements + High School Diploma or equivalent. + Minimum 1 year CT Technologist experience preferred. + Valid state licensure in diagnostic imaging. + ARRT certification (if required by state or contract). + Current CPR certification. + Health certificate, PPD or chest X-ray (if applicable). + Strong communication and technical skills. Additional Details + Hourly Rate: $41/hr. + OT Rate: $61.50 + Holiday Requirement: Must work 2 of 3 major winter holidays. + Floating: May be required within discipline across campuses. + EMR: EPIC.
