CT Technologist – Computed Tomography | Multiple Shifts Location: Riverside Regional Medical Center Address: 500 J Clyde Morris Blvd, Newport News, VA 23601 Hours per Week: 36 About the Role Riverside Regional Medical Center is seeking dedicated and skilled CT Technologists to support its Radiology/Cardiology imaging services. This role involves performing high-quality CT imaging, preparing patients for procedures, administering contrast when applicable, and collaborating with radiologists and clinical teams to ensure accurate diagnostics. Staff in this position will manage patient care directly, maintain imaging quality standards, and support the workflow of a busy hospital imaging department. Key Responsibilities + Provide comprehensive CT imaging services in an acute care hospital setting + Utilize critical thinking and sound clinical judgment in all aspects of imaging + Position patients safely and accurately; operate CT scanners and related equipment + Assist radiologists with interventional CT procedures and contrast administration + Maintain accurate documentation using the facility’s charting system + Uphold all federal, state, and facility-specific regulations and radiation safety standards + Support the workflow, goals, and growth of the CT department Shift Options Night Shift: 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM (Fri–Sun, 3×12) Schedules may include 36 hours per week. Minimum Requirements + Active state licensure in diagnostic imaging + ARRT certification in Radiologic Technology (CT preferred or required per facility) + Minimum 2 years of CT experience + Current CPR certification + Must meet all federal, state, and local employment requirements + Additional requirements: TB screening, health certificate, onboarding compliance Compensation Packages Local CT Technologist Pay Rate: $60/hr Estimated Weekly Pay: $2,160 Travel CT Technologist – 36 hrs Hourly Pay: $39/hr Meals: $476 Housing: $770 Estimated Weekly Pay: $2,650 Facility Information Riverside Regional Medical Center is a non-profit, acute care hospital offering: + Advanced CT imaging and interventional radiology + Emergency, inpatient, and outpatient diagnostic services + Multidisciplinary collaboration with radiology, nursing, and specialty teams + Patient-centered care with a focus on safety and quality Bed Capacity: Large regional medical center Certifications/Accreditations: Joint Commission accredited Notable Features: + High-volume CT department + Modern imaging equipment + Night-shift weekend schedule (Fri–Sun) Why Join This Assignment This role offers the opportunity to work within a respected regional medical center while supporting a dynamic CT department that values teamwork, clinical excellence, and patient-centered care.
