Job Details
Responsibilities:
+ Perform a wide range of clinical and research imaging procedures using independent judgment, innovation, and initiative.
+ Acquire and assess CT images to ensure optimal technical quality; accurately label images and patient data.
+ Apply appropriate imaging protocols and exercise sound clinical judgment during procedures.
+ Administer and document the delivery of contrast media, ensuring compliance with medication safety protocols.
+ Maintain strict adherence to hospital and departmental policies, procedures, and all applicable JCAHO and regulatory standards.
Qualifications:
+ High school diploma or equivalent required.
+ Graduate of an accredited two-year radiologic technology program.
+ ARRT certification and New York State Department of Health Radiologic Technologist license required.
+ CT certification preferred.
+ Prior experience and demonstrated proficiency in CT imaging (Computerized Axial Tomography) preferred.
+ BLS certification required (American Heart Association only accepted).
Salary Range
USD $52.66 - USD $65.52 /Hr.
