Job Title: Casual Security Officer
Location: Unilever Norwich Sourcing Unit, Bracondale, Carrow Works, Norwich, NR1 2DD
Salary: £12.60 per hour

About the Role
We are currently recruiting a Casual Security Officer to join our team at the Unilever Norwich Sourcing Unit. This is a great opportunity for a professional and proactive individual who thrives in a customer-facing role and can adapt to a flexible, casual shift pattern. You’ll be responsible for maintaining a secure and safe environment for our colleagues, clients, and visitors.
This role will provide cover for holidays, sickness, and other ad hoc requirements as needed.
Main Responsibilities
Provide a high standard of security and safety for staff, visitors, and premises
Monitor and control access at building entrances and vehicle gates
Conduct regular site patrols
Write clear and concise incident reports
Respond effectively to incidents and emergencies
Maintain a visible and professional presence at all times
Support a customer-first environment, engaging with all visitors and staff professionally
Essential Requirements
Valid SIA Licence
Full UK Driving Licence
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
High attention to detail and situational awareness
Minimum age requirement: 18 (due to licence restrictions)
Able to pass site-specific Security Vetting and Right to Work checks

Previous experience in a similar role
