What You will Do:
Perform design engineering analysis of discrepant machined parts manufactured in an aerospace manufacturing facility. Analyze variations to part print specifications which affect part form, fit, and function. Author and maintain Technical Analysis Reports associated with the disposition of discrepant parts. Leads root cause corrective actions, develop KPI’s and reporting of status for performance metrics of MRB processing.Capture and document root cause analysis for verified discrepancies.Work with suppliers to identify and implement rework and manufacturing process changes.Execution within multiple servicesDevelop work instructions to ensure repeatabilityCross-functional teamsPresentations and customer report generation and deliveryWhat You Will Bring:
· Deliver critical casting updates to EPS leadership during the morning DMM Review to drive visibility and alignment on recovery progress.· Actively engage in the Chi-Mag Casting Recovery Team’s Daily Tag-Up to receive and prioritize high-impact tasks essential to recovery efforts.· Participate in vendor and internal meetings to coordinate schedules, assess documentation, and identify production requirements for successful completion of castings.· Partner with leadership, process owners, and program stakeholders to obtain timely updates, define next steps, and ensure coordinated execution. Leverage master files and key resources to support informed decision-making.· Lead alignment during the afternoon Recovery Coordination Meeting, driving cross-functional consensus on casting progress and preparing strategic messaging for the next day’s leadership review.Pay Range: 60,000.00-67,000.00/YR. If this is posted in multiple locations enter low salary/hourly rate of lower cost of living location to highest range of higher cost of living location.

Work Requirements:
This role is considered an on-site position located in Rockford, Illinois
· You must be able to commute to and from the location with your own transportation arrangements to meet the required working hours.
· Shop floor environment, which may include but not limited to extensive walking, and ability to lift up to 40 lbs.
Travel requirements: Due to the nature of the work, 0% of travel is required.
