The Cash Management Specialist will apply and reconcile daily deposit batches within a single site and multisite environment.

Responsibilities Accomplishes daily, individual, and team goals to work towards company goals for Revenue Cycle ManagementUnderstands and adheres to HIPAA and PHI guidelines and all applicable state and federal regulations and company policesReceives deposit batches, posts all payments and denials, and reconciles to balance after each batchReviews residual account balances after payments are applied to generate necessary adjustments and/or secondary billingPerforms research to resolve missing or misapplied payments or other issues causing cash batches to be out of balanceContacts payers by telephone, mail, or other appropriate means to secure copies of missing remittance documentsWorks overtime when necessary to meet department goals and objectivesAssists with accounting team requests and special projects Qualifications High school Diploma/GED or equivalent required Minimum of 1 to 2 years experience in line-item cash applications or health care reimbursement Ability to apply basic accounting practices Ability to type 40 wpm with 10-key proficiency Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite Knowledge of CPR+ software a plus Ability to independently obtain and interpret information Strong verbal and written communication skills About our Line of Business Amerita, an affiliate of BrightSpring Health Services, is a specialty infusion company focused on providing complex pharmaceutical products and clinical services to patients outside of the hospital.
