We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Cash Applications Specialist to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in high-volume payment processing and a commitment to accuracy and efficiency. This role is critical in ensuring timely and accurate application of customer payments to accounts receivable.
Key Responsibilities:Process and apply 200+ customer payments daily via various payment methods (ACH, wire, lockbox, checks, etc.)Reconcile daily cash receipts and resolve discrepancies in a timely mannerCollaborate with internal departments (e.g., AR, Collections, Customer Service) to resolve unapplied or misapplied paymentsMaintain accurate records of all transactions and ensure compliance with company policiesAssist with month-end closing activities and reporting as neededSupport audits by providing documentation and responding to inquiriesQualifications:High School Diploma or GED requiredAssociate’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferredMinimum of 2 years of experience in cash applications or accounts receivable, preferably in a high-volume environmentProficiency in ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, NetSuite) and Microsoft ExcelStrong analytical and problem-solving skillsExcellent attention to detail and organizational skillsAbility to work independently and meet deadlinesWork Schedule:Hybrid schedule:In-office 2 days per week, remote the remainderWhy Join Us?Collaborative and supportive team environmentOpportunities for professional growth and developmentCompetitive compensation and benefits packagePay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $21.00 - $23.00/hr.
