We have a dedicated team focused on proprietary research known as the Casey Quirk Knowledge Center. As part of our continued growth, we are always looking for talented professionals with an interest in the global investment industry and a passion for providing strategic advice to senior executives. The CQ Knowledge Center is seeking a visionary, market-savvy Senior Manager to lead and expand our research and insights agenda across the investment management and wealth management marketplaces. This high-impact role is designed for a thought leader who thrives at the intersection of market analysis, executive engagement, and content-driven eminence. Work You'll Do As a Senior Manager, you will shape forward-looking views, synthesize complex market trends, and serve as a go-to voice on evolving dynamics in buyer behavior, product strategy, operating models, and technology innovation. You will collaborate with senior leaders across the firm and industry to produce actionable insights and contribute to Deloitte's position as a trusted authority in the financial services sector. Key responsibilities: + Lead strategic research efforts and intellectual agenda development for investment and wealth management topics. + Create forward-looking, hypothesis-driven market insights and thought leadership materials that influence clients and inform strategy. + Serve as a market-facing thought leader, presenting findings to industry executives, conference audiences, and internal partners. + Guide a team in synthesizing data, developing proprietary frameworks, and delivering impactful points of view across buyer demand, product innovation, operational evolution, and technology disruption. + Partner closely with Deloitte Consulting and CQ engagement teams to connect marketplace intelligence to client impact. + Build and manage relationships with senior industry stakeholders and maintain a pulse on evolving client needs and competitive dynamics. + Set and manage the annual research agenda, including proprietary studies, timelines, conference engagement and PR connectivity + Manage Knowledge Center resources, including dedicated team members, research support, and budget. + Ensure the Knowledge Center's work maintains the highest standards of analytical rigor, relevance, and influence in the market. The team plays a pivotal role in shaping the firm's point of view and driving influence across Deloitte's global platform. Qualifications Required: + 8+ years of professional experience in investment management and/or wealth management + 8+ years of professional experience in market research and consulting + 8+ years of experience defining financial services industry trends, buyer and product landscapes, and the operational and digital transformation shaping the sector + 5+ years of experience leading high-performing teams and managing multiple research projects concurrently + Proven experience authoring thought leadership or market insights that have reached executive audiences or media platforms + Comfort and skill in executive-level presentations, facilitation, and speaking engagements + Strong intellectual curiosity and passion for shaping forward-looking market perspectives + Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, or related discipline + Live within commuting distance to one of Deloitte's consulting offices + Ability to travel 30%, on average, based on the work you do and the clients and industries/sectors you serve + Limited immigration sponsorship may be available Preferred: + MBA or Master's degree in Finance, Economics, or related discipline + Prior experience working in or with strategy consulting firms, asset managers, wealth platforms or fintechs + Ability to translate complex data and insights into clear, concise narratives for broad audiences + Strong network of contacts in the investment or wealth management ecosystem + Interest in enhancing current processes and analytical tools, leveraging best-in-class techniques such as GenAI Information for applicants with a need for accommodation: https://www2.deloitte.com/us/en/pages/careers/articles/join-deloitte-assistance-for-disabled-applicants.html The wage range for this role takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs. The disclosed range estimate has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled. At Deloitte, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $175,300 to $322,900. You may also be eligible to participate in a discretionary annual incentive program, subject to the rules governing the program, whereby an award, if any, depends on various factors, including, without limitation, individual and organizational performance.
