As a Casework Support team member in our Permanency Support Program (PSP), you’ll be part of a compassionate, purpose-driven team walking alongside children, families, and carers through some of life’s most vulnerable moments.
Your Purpose
You’ll support our case managers in delivering meaningful, child-centered services. Whether it’s helping to arrange a respite placement, facilitating a family visit, or completing vital documentation, your work will help create safe, nurturing environments where children can thrive.
What You’ll Do
Assist with home visits, safety checks, and phone calls to carers and service providers.Help implement case plan tasks and support connections to kin, community, and culture.Build trusting relationships with children, carers, and birth families.Support carer recruitment, training, and annual reviews.Complete administrative tasks including reports, templates, and database entries (e.g., ChildStory Partner).Arrange and supervise family visits, and document outcomes with care and clarity.Participate in team meetings, supervision, and professional development.What You’ll Bring
A heart for children and families, and a commitment to trauma-informed, culturally respectful practice.Strong admin and computer skills, with attention to detail.Clear communication and the ability to stay calm in a fast-paced environment.A team spirit and willingness to grow and learn.Qualifications & Requirements Why Anglicare?
Tertiary qualification in Social Work, Psychology, or Community Services (or working towards).NSW Unrestricted Driver’s Licence.Working with Children Check clearance.Understanding of foster care and child protection systems.
