Case Manager Workers Compensation
Job Summary

The Workers’ Compensation Nurse Case Manager is an experienced RN who provides both field and telephonic clinical case management for Tower Health employees with medical-only, lost time, and complex workers’ compensation cases under the direction of the Medical Director of Occupational Health. This includes but is not limited to contributing to compensability decisions, coordinating light duty, assuring compliance with plan of care, attending specialist appointments, and composing letters to Independent Medical Examiners. Provides RN Case Management services for select clients of Occupational Health Services. Participates in or leads projects that support Employee Health and Accident Prevention.

 

This position is remote but should be based in Southeast PA in a commutable distance to Reading Hospital (West Reading, PA). There will be times where an onsite presence is necessary.


Qualifications

Relevant experience is requiredStrong understanding of Pennsylvania State Workers' CompensationAssociate's degreeBLS certificationPA Registered Nurse LicensePA Drivers LicenseCertification as an Occupational Health Nurse or Pennsylvania Workers' Compensation Safety certificate is a plus.
