The Department of Writing Studies at the University of Miami is currently accepting applications for a full-time lecturer position for the Spring 2026 semester with an expected start date of January 1, 2026. The teaching assignment is four courses each semester. Initial appointment(s) will be for one semester and may be renewable depending on enrollments and the university budget. Application materials should include: a cover letter describing your background and experience; a curriculum vitae; and a list of 3 professional references. A PhD (or equivalent terminal degree) in Writing Studies, Rhetoric and Composition, English, Professional and/or Technical Communication or a closely related field is required by the start date of the appointment.
