Their knowledge of the organization enables them to craft solutions that align precisely with client requirements and strategic objectives. This role is responsible for the **design, promotion, and market positioning** of NTT’s carrier-related products and services. The Carrier Portfolio Manager plays a key role in identifying **new commercially viable offerings** and uncovering opportunities to enhance existing products and services to maintain competitive advantage. In addition, the Carrier Portfolio Manager provides **insightful impact assessments** and strategic guidance to ensure that the carrier framework adheres to governance standards and compliance requirements. Their contributions directly influence the organization’s ability to deliver high-quality, compliant, and market-relevant carrier solutions. **Key Role & Responsibilities** + Build and maintain strong relationships with carrier partners and suppliers. + Collaborate with engineers, consultants, technical architects, and solution architects to ensure solutions align with client requirements. + Drive product sales to meet agreed financial targets and performance goals. + Formulate commercial models and take ownership of the portfolio’s profit and loss performance. + Develop and deliver carrier product training to client-facing teams. + Guide and influence the sales team to effectively position and close deals involving carrier products and services. + Support internal and external stakeholders to ensure successful project delivery. + Analyze product data to identify trends and insights using both internal and external sources. + Facilitate the transformation of ideas and knowledge into innovative products, processes, and services. + Conduct competitive analysis of carrier offerings and market trends, with a strong focus on data-driven insights. + Review and assess product profitability across the carrier portfolio. + Evaluate pricing strategies for existing and new investments, ensuring alignment with projected value, market trends, and competitor offerings. + Lead product design, modeling, and testing of new and existing solutions. + Draft and maintain comprehensive product specification documentation. + Monitor and interpret market trends relevant to the product or product line. + Collaborate closely with partner relationship managers. + Work with engineers, consultants, and project managers during project initiation to ensure successful outcomes. + Provide product expertise to support the development of client proposals. + Prepare RFI/RFP responses and bids, and secure vendor product certifications for the portfolio. + Recommend product enhancements and updates to identify new business opportunities. + Participate in the product development lifecycle to assess the impact of new features on end users and client-facing teams. **Knowledge, Skills & Attributes** + Deep understanding of both local and global carrier landscapes. + Strong analytical skills with proficiency in handling large datasets. + Commercial acumen in pricing strategies, cost analysis, and financial performance management. + Investigative mindset with the ability to unpack complex carrier-related challenges. + Proactive, self-driven, and able to take initiative. + Proven ability to work collaboratively across teams and functions. + Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel. + In-depth knowledge of product management and service development lifecycles. + Expertise in relevant legislation, industry best practices, and proactive stakeholder engagement. + Familiarity with sales strategies and concepts. + Ability to engage with C-level executives and present confidently in large public forums. **Academic Qualifications & Certifications** + Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in Information Technology, Commerce, or a related field. **Experience Required** + Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in an ISP or carrier-based environment. + Demonstrated success in designing and implementing new products or product lines. + Strong commercial acumen with the ability to assess market opportunities, pricing strategies, and financial performance. + Proven track record in Information Technology sales. **\#LI-MEA** **Workplace type** **:** On-site Working **About NTT DATA** NTT DATA is a $30+ billion trusted global innovator of business and technology services.
