Will be driving during work hours. **Preferred Qualifications:** • (2-4) years of similar work experience preferred **Responsibilities:** • Perform the carpentry duties necessary to maintain in good repair building woodwork and equipment such as bins, counters, benches, partitions, and doors • Plan and lay out work from blueprints, drawings, models, or verbal instructions, using a variety of carpenter's hand tools, portable power tools, and standard measuring instruments • Make standard shop computations relating to dimensions of work • Select materials necessary for the work • Paint walls, woodwork, and fixtures • Identify surface peculiarities and determine the types of paint required for different applications • Prepare surface for painting by removing old finish or by placing putty or filler in nail holes • Mix colors, oils, white lead and other paint ingredients to obtain proper color or consistency • Use spray gun and/or brush to apply paint A good job for someone just entering the workforce or returning to the workforce with limited experience and education.
