As a Carpenter, you will be responsible for maintaining the hotel’s building and facilities to deliver an excellent Guest and Member experience. This role involves carrying out carpentry repairs, building required items, maintaining tools and equipment, and supporting preventative maintenance activities in line with Hilton standards.
Key Responsibilities
As a Carpenter, you will perform the following duties to the highest standards:
Maintain the building and facilities, including doors, windows, furniture, and other carpentry-related items
Complete Guest room maintenance tasks in accordance with the maintenance schedule
Build and repair required items, including custom or specialty furniture
Operate, maintain, and safely store carpentry tools and equipment
Assist with the delivery of other maintenance-related services as required
Maintain a daily log of completed tasks and activities
Prepare and follow preventative maintenance schedules
Take accurate measurements, install fixtures, and make necessary adjustments
Conduct quality inspections in line with company and brand standards
Build and maintain positive working relationships with internal and external customers
Carry out special projects and additional responsibilities as assigned
Follow all hotel Health & Safety, fire, and security procedures at all times

Recognized trade qualification as a Carpenter (proof of qualification may be required)
