**Carpenter – New Construction & Remodels (Cedar Rapids + Belle Plaine)** **Position Overview** We are seeking an experienced Carpenter to join our team working on a variety of new construction and remodeling projects. This role involves steel stud framing, installing doors and windows, casework and cabinetry, hardware installation, and other general carpentry duties across commercial and public projects. **Current Project Locations** + West Cedar Rapids City Library + St. Ludmila Church + Marion Parkview + Cascade Library + South Tama Middle School **Project Specialties** Our team regularly works on a wide range of commercial and community-focused projects, including: + Banks + Churches + Public Projects (libraries, rec centers, fire stations, rest areas) + Convenience Stores (e.g., Casey’s) + Mister Car Wash + Manufacturing Buildings + Multi-Family Housing + Office Buildings + Retail Spaces **Key Responsibilities** + Steel stud framing + Installation of windows, doors, trim, and hardware + Casework and cabinet installation + Reading and interpreting blueprints + Use of hand and power tools + General construction and remodeling tasks **Required Skills & Qualifications** + **2–3 years of residential OR 2+ years of commercial carpentry experience** + (framing, windows/doors, trim, hardware installation, etc.) + Valid driver’s license + Ability to read a tape measure accurately + Ability to read and apply construction drawings + Strong carpentry skills with a focus on quality and detail **Top Skills** + Carpentry + Concrete + Metal stud framing + Hand tools + Blueprint reading **Job Type & Location** This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Cedar Rapids, IA. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $28.00/hr.
