Job Title: Carpenter

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled carpenter to perform basic drywall and carpentry tasks, including taping and work in skiff rooms. The ideal candidate will have the ability to use a chop saw, as well as cut and measure materials accurately. This role involves working as part of a team led by a foreman, with a start time of 6am. Applicants are required to have work boots, an OSHA 10 certification, and personal protective equipment (PPE). While PPE will be provided, it is beneficial if candidates have their own hard hat and safety glasses.

Responsibilities

Perform basic drywall and carpentry work.Engage in taping and skiff room tasks.Utilize hand and power tools, including chop saws, for cutting and measuring.Collaborate effectively within a team under the supervision of a foreman.Adhere to safety protocols and wear appropriate PPE at all times.

Essential Skills

Minimum 1 year of construction experience.Proficiency with hand and power tools.OSHA 10 certification.Reliable transportation.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

Experience in framing, production, and installation.Familiarity with using a tape measure.

Work Environment

This is a fast-paced commercial construction project, where you will work as part of a large crew led by a foreman. The work environment is safety-focused, with a high level of safety expectations. The job site operates from 6am to 2pm, Monday through Friday, in locations such as Hudson, NH and Cambridge, MA.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Hudson, NH.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $27.00/hr.
