**Carpenter Installation Technician**
**Job Description**
We are seeking a skilled Carpentry Installation Technician to join our team. This role involves traveling to commercial and prebuilt residential houses to perform installations. You will be part of a team responsible for trim carpentry and rough framing, ensuring high-quality installations.
**Responsibilities**
+ Travel to commercial and residential sites to perform installations.
+ Conduct trim carpentry and rough framing work.
+ Collaborate with a team of 3-4 members during installations.
+ Utilize basic tools such as a hammer and tape measure; additional tools will be provided.
+ Communicate effectively to address field issues and suggest improvements.
+ Adhere to company safety guidelines and OSHA fall protection procedures.
+ Assist and support team members in various tasks.
+ Manage customer expectations professionally.
**Skills & Qualifications**
+ Minimum of 2 years of carpentry experience.
+ Proficiency in trim and rough carpentry.
+ Ability to read a tape measure accurately.
+ Experience with window installations in high-level houses and commercial buildings.
+ Certification in operating a scissor lift is a plus.
+ Ability to use cordless drivers, levels, and nail guns.
+ Comfortable climbing high ladders and lifting 50 pounds multiple times a day.

**Work Environment**
You will meet at the shop every morning before heading to your assigned project. The work involves both outdoor and indoor window installations. Travel may require up to two hours per day, with typical distances ranging from 45 minutes to 1.5 hours. While a company car will be used for transportation to each site, you must have your own basic tools. Embrace a team-oriented environment focused on safety and professionalism.
**Job Type & Location**
This is a Contract position based out of Grand Rapids, MI.
**Pay and Benefits**
The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $25.00/hr.
