Job Description
We are seeking a Carpenter to assist a lead carpenter with various tasks on a construction site, including cleanup, hanging safety railings, installing hole covers, and performing other labor work.
Responsibilities
Assist lead carpenter in rough carpentry work and general site tasks.Use skill saw and other power tools efficiently.Lead and manage a helper in completing tasks within one day.Maintain focus and communicate completion of tasks without supervision.Build handrails and cover doorways with plywood.Perform deck work and fix door frames and hinges.Read tape measures accurately.Own and utilize personal hand tools effectively.Operate provided power tools, including sawzaw, grinder, and hammer drill.Comply with OSHA standards for handrails and hole covers.Possess fall protection experience or certifications.Essential Skills
Construction and general labor experience.Carpentry skills.Proficiency with hand tools and power tools.Ability to read tape measures.Knowledge of safety railings and fall protection.Efficient time management skills.Additional Skills & Qualifications
Bilingual abilities are a plus.Certified in manlift operation is advantageous.Why Work Here?

Work Environment
You will be working on a new construction site at a large data center, with various trades present. The role involves first shift work from Monday to Saturday, with Sunday being voluntary, and requires working 9-16 hour days both outdoors and indoors without air conditioning. You will be part of a team of 20 laborers and carpenters, expected to work six days per week.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Phoenix, Arizona.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $28.00 - $28.00/hr.
