Job Description

Join a dynamic team in the commercial and industrial construction industry. Responsibilities will include general interior framing, curb preparation, and roof leveling preparation. You will also operate a skid steer as part of your role.

Responsibilities

Assist in general framing of interiors using plywood.Prepare curbs and level roofs for construction projects.Operate a skid steer efficiently.Work on various commercial construction projects across the Edmonton area.Perform wood and steel framing, including steel studs and door openings.Complete miscellaneous tasks such as demolition, parapet sheathing, window opening lining, foundation insulation, and blocking in framing.Install metal door frames and hollow metal doors.Conduct miscellaneous layout tasks as needed.

Essential Skills

Commercial construction experience, particularly rough carpentry.General commercial carpentry experienceValid Skid Steer Certification.Ability to lift up to 25 pounds.Reliable transportation to job sites.CSTS 2020 certification.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

AWP or EWP certification.Valid Fall Protection Certification.

Work Environment

The work environment provides all necessary tools, and workers are expected to bring a tool belt, hammer, utility knife, tape measure, and any preferred miscellaneous hand tools such as a small pry bar or trisquare. Personal power tools are not permitted on site, as all additional tools are provided and must remain at the jobsite.
