Our Carpenters will be required to perform construction, renovation, and maintenance projects. They will also be responsible for the maintenance of equipment, supplies, and tools. Basic troubleshooting skills (electricity, plumbing, etc.) are preferred. **Basic Qualifications** + Knowledge of how to use basic carpentry equipment such as, but not limited to: table saw, radial arm saw, miter saw, door plane, drill press, routers, etc. + Ability to build quality finish cabinetry + Experience installing plastic laminates and veneers + Creativity in designing projects from start to finish + Ability to perform basic furniture repairs + Veneer repair experience preferred + Paint and drywall experience preferred **Qualifications:** + Good customer service skills and the ability to use hand tools and power tools are required. + Must have good communication skills and the ability to multitask. + Must have open availability, including nights, weekends, holidays, and be able to work without direct supervision. + Previous experience in construction, cabinetry, and/or carpentry industries preferred. + Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience, as well as knowledge and skills in commonly used tools, preferred. **Primary Location:** US-UT-Salt Lake City **Organization:** Hyatt Regency Salt Lake City **Pay Basis:** Hourly **Job Level:** Full-time **Job:** Engineering/Facility Maintenance **Req ID:** SAL001446 Hyatt is an equal employment opportunity and affirmative action employer.
